With over 40 years combined experience in the diamond business, Jason and Todd know what it takes to be the leaders in the diamond industry in Southwest Florida. Their first venture together was developing what became a successful jewelry retail chain with twelve stores. When the internet surged into the jewelry scene it changed the jewelry industry over night. Many retail stores began to shut their doors as they failed to compete with the aggressive internet pricing. Jason and Todd decided it was time to separate themselves from the retail side of the jewelry business and they partnered to introduce a new concept in the jewelry industry.

Close Relationships

To separate themselves from respected retail jewelers that offer a wide variety of jewelry including watches and colored gemstones to a discerning clientele, Jason and Todd decided to broker only loose certified diamonds and diamond fashionable jewelry at or below “internet” prices which saves their customers up to 50% below retail jewelry stores. Todd and Jason explain that the major advantage they have over local retail jewelry stores is that they have their own buying office in Tel Aviv, Israel. This office purchases rough diamonds directly from Sight holders who obtain their diamonds from DeBeers and then cuts and polishes them for export around the world. Their access to these finished diamonds puts The Diamond District as close to the actual diamond mine as you can get. They have also forged many close relationships with diamond cutters in the major cutting centers of the world. Antwerp, Mumbai, New York and Los Angeles are common travel spots where weeks can be spent examining and sorting through thousands of loose diamonds. In fact, nearly 95 % of the diamonds examined are rejected, only the best qualities are kept and brought back for their clients to choose.
